These episodes of ‘Game On’ show how the internet affects our lives and also shows examples of how people can use your personal information or posts that you’ve made, against you, which can hurt not just you, but also your peers. It also shows how excessive gaming can have a negative effect on your health and well being, as it can make you tired and also stops you from being able to get on with your homework, social and school life. One of the most important topics it covers is scams. It teaches you that nothing, however convincing it is, will ever be free and that if something seems to good to be true, it probably is!

Some great aspects of the video, are that it teaches kids and young teenagers how to be safe on the internet and some of the dangerous effects that can happen if you use the internet incorrectly. The video uses examples of the effects of bad internet usage that can happen to kids and teenagers. This is great as it creates a scenario that has the potential and a possibility of happening to you!
I believe that the ‘Game On’ video teaches you very important lessons about cyber-safety and gaming. I think that it would be best directed at students in grades 6-12, as this is the age category where most people start to use and become more active on the internet.
Remember to think about the messages the video conveys and also to try and become a ‘smart’ internet user.
